The Deaf Action Center has partnered with the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf to loan hearing and speech equipment without fees to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind or speech disabled. Also interpreting services available, video relay services, between doctor and patients or business to business. Sign language classes available, and they also test and certify interpreters on many different levels.

The Five Independent Living Core services are: Information and Referral, Peer Counseling, Skills Training, Advocacy, and Transition.
